Twelfth Night

Shakespeare’s classic comedy, reenvisioned in a world of deconstructed letters and live music, with gender-swapped casting for extra fun. This production of Twelfth Night, which I directed at a conservative Quaker university with a cast of fantastically funny and open-minded student actors, was the original inspiration for my screenplay The Starfish.

By William Shakespeare. Directed by Megan Weaver. Scenic design by George Caldwell. Lighting design by Kacy Helwig. Costume design by Kimberly Hergert. George Fox University Wood Mar Theatre, October 2014. Photos by Joel Bock.
