Writer. Director. Storyteller.

Hi, I’m Megan.

I’m a storyteller with roots in ensemble theater and a radical lens on the world of work.

I believe that creativity, collaboration and justice grow in the same soil. For that reason, I have built my professional life on two pillars: Telling original stories that explore the deepest questions of being human, and ghostwriting content for transformational leaders who are bringing deeper humanity to corporate life.

To me, stories have the power to connect us with our collective shared self, and the truths that unite us beneath everything else.

Honest Writing

I grew up in a small Quaker town in Oregon, raised by a chronically ill single mom who spent much of my childhood fighting for her life. These experiences infused my writing with absurd humor and metaphysical scope from a young age.

Collaborative Directing

Actors and designers love working with me because I listen deeply, with discernment, to what they have to offer. I’ll always pursue the best idea in the room, whether it came from me or someone else. I invite the full creative voices of my collaborators to create a refreshing and unique audience experience, each and every time.

Empowering Content

I ghostwrite authentic, attention-grabbing content that breaks down status-quo thinking in today’s corporate world. My clients are visionary leaders who are shaping the future of work.

People are saying…

Megan is one of the most intellectually curious and engaged artists that I have ever met. She is, quite simply, the kind of generative, unflappable, efficient and creative collaborator with whom everyone wants to work.

Jake Pinholster, Founding Director, MIX (Media and Immersive eXperience) Center

Megan brought clarity and structure to the story I wanted to tell. Her thorough understanding of story arc and plot structure was invaluable in our process. Excited to bring my next project her way!

Megan's training in the theater - directing, writing, and acting – is what makes her so good at reading between the lines and creating succinct, coherent messaging out of ambiguity. Her experience is very different from what you might expect, but it’s exactly what makes her so good at it.
